INDENTURE between Thomas Helme & William H. Helme - 4 June 1812


Know all men by these Presents that I Thomas Helme of the Town of Brookhaven County of Suffolk and State of New York for and in consideration of the Love and divers good services that I have for my son William H. Helme I do give grant alien conveyance confirm and by these Presents have granted my son William H. Helme to his heirs and assigns forever all my Home Lot of Land lying in Millers Place upon the West side of the Road Leading from Millers Place to Middle of the Island Bounded on the North and West by the land of Nathaniel Davis & Isaac Miller and South by the land of Merritt S. Woodhull and East by the first mentioned Road together with all the buildings, Waterings and the ......... and appuntances thereunto Belonging and Also all my lands and meadow in the Town of Brookhaven (Excepting what I gave to my daugher Hannah in my Last Will which Land lying upon the East side of the Road going from Miller Place to Middle of the Island and Also ten acres of wood Land which is specified in my Last Will.) To him the said William H. Helme to his Heirs and assigns forever for their Use Benefit & School.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and seal this Fourth Day of June one thousand Eight Hundred and Twelve.
